Vicious?

This is Czar, the tiger that used to occupy the tiger exhibit at the Oregon Zoo. Nicole and Mikhail (I believe that those are their names) now occupy the exhibit, but I will never forgot the first tiger there. Man did he have character... he'd talk to you sometimes if you caught him on a good day! He talked to me once. :love:

Stone Stairway

This stairway is located at the top of Multnomah Falls in NW Oregon. The hike is a heck of a walk, but the view is absolutely gorgeous. This picture makes me feel like I'm walking on part of an ancient castle.

Finally, as in finally I've got my submissions up to date! :wow:

You know, I have no idea how many people actually read my journals. :lol: But I write them anyway in the hopes that I'll one day be so watched that people will want to see what's going on in my world of art. :giggle: Hey, I can dream, can't I?

Anywho, I'm very pleased with my most recent submissions. I've come upon some beautiful subjects and now the only thing I have left to do is watch the damn DVDs that came with my camera so that I can play around more with the manual settings! :floating:

No problem! I lived in Portland for almost 11 years and it certainly has its beauty. :love: One of my favorite things was the proximity to the ocean AND the waterfalls. :D

I agree. :D It's the thing that has kept me here, the closeness of so many varied types of scenery...from the Mountains, to the High Desert, the Ocean, the Gorge and it's beautiful trails and waterfalls. There is certainly much to see here according to any mood you might be in. :nod: I bet it's just as beautiful where you are now though. :nod:
